Such a headache!

Had creamy wheat this morning made with almond milk. A smattering of blueberries and it was absolutely delicious. However, now I have the gluten reaction. Since avoiding gluten, when I eat it, I really notice how it affects my physical state. Dang!

Took the beast on a long walk to the ocean and back. We are expecting rain but you'd never know as it's so beautiful out there. Making shrimp tandoori for dinner.

Have not weighed in for two days-hoping to lose something-ANYTHING in next few days.

What was the gluten reaction?? I had bread this weekend for the first time in forever and I had some serious gas....maybe it was something else. I want tandoori shrimp for dinner but I want someone to come make it for me : ) I would love to be able to walk to the ocean!!!!! What a gift.

Yep Gas is a big one for me too-as well as the feeling I ate a brick and the bloat. I also get skin rashes if I continue to eat it for a few days. Shrimp tandoori is so easy. All you need is yogurt, lemon, dinger, garlic and some Indian Spices (do you have a Cost Plus nearby?).

Bummer about the gluten reaction. Just isn't fair. I've never had any Indian food ... but just the name of it, and the fact there is shrimp in it sounds good to me!! But alas ... out here in the boonies there isn't much of anything nearby. I need an ocean fix. Hope you find you have lost something very soon!!!

I have the same problem with the gluten and carbs, Dens...gas, and I feel like I have a horrid hangover. Headache, upset tummy, gas, other intestinal issues that don't allow me to wander too far from the bathroom...it stinks. The shrimp sounds delicious for dinner....enjoy it!

That really sucks. Hub and I had gas Sunday we could not think of where we got it. I can not handle pintos anymore. I've told you that. I can't image it being from breads, have you been diagnosed w/ Celiacs? Or anything? I guess you can just have the sensitivity. Not sure if you are aware of the blog, glutenfreegirl. Look it up if you haven't. I haven't explored Indian either, recipe or a link to a good pic of it pretty plz???? :)

I have Celiac, so does my father and sister. I did not know until 2 years ago. I still eat gluten occasionally....especially pizza. Dear God, I love pizza! Real pizza, like Grandma used to make. Cin-I go to that blog for inspiration. It's fantastic. Ctiss, you describe my reaction exactly. I will post my make at home Indian recipes. Really easy, I promise. Lots of flavor and very little of the bad stuff.
