well wee i am so happy today i am being so good and i am soooo proud of my self instead of crying and banging things around i am getting my mind in a healthy mindset i may not be looseing weight but i am eatting much healthier and that my friends is what really counts what we put in our mouths as long as it is healthy although im wishing i could have diet soda i cant so what i do is i mix it i put 1/2 diet and half regular that way i wont get a migraine headache if i have to have soda this is what i do and i dont do this very often i would get into alot of major problems so i am drinking more water and coffee instead of this soda but im saying if i have to have it and cant get the thought out of my mind this is what i do then i am much happier for it. now i need to get back to excerciseing but only if my back would cooperate ugg any way i so plan on being really good on thanksgiving cause i am makeing a vegi plate and a low carb fruit plate too love to all shelly.

keep trying shelly! If you could only switch over to all diet drinks... you'd be surprised at what you could lose over a long period of time! I know it's hard, it took my hubby several tries but he doesn't drink anything but diet drinks now!! If he can do it, I'm pretty sure anyone could, lol. It'll just taking some getting used to, that's all. Try different kinds until you find one that you like. I've been drinking diet drinks since I was about 12 years old and let me tell ya ... they've come a LONG way in taste! Try drinking some crystal light as well, be on the lookout for the ones that say 0 calories, 0 carbs, 0 sugars though. Some of them have calories. Also, wal-mart sells an "off" brand of splenda, it's called Altern I think... try making some green tea sweetened w/ that. Try the Lipton brands of green tea, they have some flavored ones that are really good!! Watch your coffee creamer as well.. mine has 1 carb per tsp. Sounds like you've got a plan for Thanksgiving. I too will be making some healthier side dishes so I'm not too worried about Thanksgiving. Christmas will be my downfall since we usually do finger foods and they usually consist of sausage balls, roll-up sandwiches, chips and dips, biscuits, lots and lots of chocolate candies, pb candies, fudge, cookies, doughnuts, etc... UGH, I dread it already!! Keep pushing yourself girl, even those "little" changes will eventually help you in the long run!

Good for you Shelly. Dieting is so hard to do. I have decided to give up sodas all together. It's been a very long time since i've had any kind of sodas. I drink tea sweetened with splenda. I just don't know what I would do without tea and that water flavor stuff! I hate to say this, but watch your fruit because some of your fruits are full of sugars. Overall enjoy yourself for the holidays!
