Wow... I can't believe it is December! Lots of things to do today, including putting up the tree I have been dreading to do. I am afraid it is going to be pure torture for my 11 month old. But my 4 year old is dying to get it done. So here goes a month of "no-no's" and "don't touch" for my son. Just one more thing for me to keep him out of. On a positive note, I will be getting up and down all day long to keep him away from the tree so just a little more exercise for me!! haha.
My monthly visitor is here and weight was steady this morning so hopefully that means once it passes the scales will drop down some more. Oh and I fit into a pair of jeans yesterday that I have not worn in over 2 years! Woo hoo!! And they fit well, not so tight I couldn't bend over or sit down. They really and truly fit!! So happy about that!!

I, too, feel that pride in myself for gettin' into jeans and such that I haven't worn for quite some time....KUDOS to you!!!! AWESOME JOB....FEELS terrific and just the motivation we need to keep on keepin' on....

Congratulations on the jeans, that's exciting!! I don't know how well your son is walking and going over things, but, if you're worried about the tree this is a kind of funny suggestion. My boyfriend's parents have this crazy dog that will jump up and get the ornaments and pull the tree over so they put this picket fence looking thing around it to keep her out...just the same way as a baby gate. Maybe that would work?

oh yeah, i am prepared to have to buy a baby gate if he won't stay out of it. he is all boy and really strong so i do worry he will pull it over on top of him. we'll see how the weekend goes!

Yayaya! AWESOME! I know, isn't it great to get into a smaller pair of jeans?!? I am so comfy in the next size down that I bought a pair smaller for when I can get into them, for incentive!! I can hardly wait to get into them! :) GREAT JOB!

This is the first year that we have had a Christmas tree in the 5 years that my husband and i have been married, and I have the same worries about my two year old getting into the ornaments..but no rushes to the emergency room so far, knock on wood. I do love having a tree, it makes it so homey and cozy! Congratulations on going down in your jean sizes, I am so jealous!! I am still wearing stretchy pants LOL!
