It is ver gratifying to me that I am no longer getting lost in the bread basket when out to dinner, nibbling at everyone else's rich desearts because "I am on a diet" , dipping into tons of buttered popcorn when I go to the movies-Needing to eat pretzels and potato chips because I NEED salt; M & M's candied peanuts because I NEED something sweet-staying awake until the wee hours of the morning waatching TV so that I can eat some more. I become very aware of the changes in my eating habits especially on weekends when I tend to be more social. Hope all are enjoying their weekend.

Susie, I am no expert either, but I was on phase one for a really long time and my weight loss stalled for a while, i went to phase 2 b/c i figured it couldn't get any slower, and i started losing again. i think my body was trying to tell me it needed something more. now i am doing phase 2 and losing steadily again. along with 3 o4 days a week of riding my exercise bike. plus, you really can't expect phase 1 to be a lifestyle way of eating. but phase 2, i can definitely see doing that for a very long time. just thought i would tell you. i stayed on phase 1 thinking it would be the fastest way to reach my goal, but i am now losing just as fast on phase 2. hope this helps.
