This week is a tasty holiday-Hanukkah-when you fill up on fried delicious potato pancakes. I WILL NOT indulge. It will be easy because by the time I leave for 10 day vacation to my daughter's and 2 small grandsons on Friday, most of the celebrations will have ended at their home, and I can keep clean. Am doing well since Thanksgiving free for all.

I live downunder and last night took out my Hannukah candles and Menorah to take to my grandchildren tonight as it is first night Hannuka. I am going going to by them some doughnuts as this is traditional Hannukah food and a small gift each. Will not be taking latkes. Enjoy your time with your family and your vacation. Where are you from?

I am retired and live in South Florida. I am originally from New York, Queens that is. My daughter lives in Westchester, NY and I am leaving Friday=I understand there will be snow there. Enjoy the holiday.
