MOMofTeens's Journal, 26 Feb 10

I am feeling really discouraged. I started out losing so quickly and noticing a difference. Now I am leveling off and angry at how hard I am working (exercise and diet being followed). I have even worked out more this week in an effort to see a difference and I am not. I have even started weighing myself everyday hoping to see an encouraging sign, but there is nothing. UGH! I know I have commented on many people's journals about this very subject and that plateaus are a part of this, but I can't help being ticked about it!!!!

Check sodium - that was always a cause of plateaus for me...

Wow, look at your chart. You are doing great. That extra exercise might make you retain a little water in your muscles. Give it another week. I am sure you will see the scale move. You are getting closer to goal, so it may take more time to get it off. You are doing awesome!!

You are doing great - focus on getting more vegetables since they will fill you up for low points, and hang in there. I don't exercise at all, lots of reasons none of them good, but overall, the number of calories is what you have to worry about - maybe take a break with the exercise. Also, measure, recount, etc. - maybe a little extra here, a bit of a bigger scoop there? I know that is usually my problem if I think I am "doing well" but there is no loss. Hang in there!
