So disappointed that my new running shoes didn't work out. :-( Bought them over the weekend and tried them out on the treadmill yesterday. They are the Merrell barefoot shoes and I wanted to try out a different style because the colors are more fun. Well, they are so much wider than my current pair. My feet were sliding all around. And they've got this detail on the toe that everytime I took a step, my big toe nail would get snagged on it. YUCK!!! Thank goodness REI has a generous return policy. I guess I'll take them back and get my regular style with the boring colors. First world problems...
I've decided to ramp-up my weight loss for the rest of the week. I'm going to cut back to 1500 cals/day to try and get a little closer to 153. I really want to get below 155 and stay there -- even on my day-to-day weigh-ins.
