I looked back over my food journal and it seems that I may not be eating enough calories. It seems hard to increase the calories I am eating because I am using my 12-15 carbs for veggies which don't have many calories and I sometimes can't eat more than 3 oz of meat/eggs etc. because I am FULL. Any suggestions for bumping up calories? I'm getting really frustrated trying to meet all the Induction criteria in only 20 carbs. Maybe I just need to move up to OWL. I can't decide.

I'm in the same boat - I rec'd two recommendations recently - the easiest is avocados - they're high fat, high calorie. The other was coconut oil - I guess a lot of low-carbers do either one or two tablespoons of coconut oil a day. Which sounds... less appealing than avocados! And wherever you can, add cheese and butter.

Add olive oil (raw) to your veggies. It is healthy and high in calories :)

I forgot to mention what Kimm told me: always keep the fire burning, try 3 meals with 4-5 total carbs plus 2-3 snacks of 2-3 total carbs and stay under 20 total carbs. Your snacks have no calories. Dont go hungry cause the body will feel it. Spread the calories and carbs throughout your day. I have been trying to do that and so far so good. Give it a try :)
