I`ve tally lost it today. My beautiful meal plan under 1000cals has collapsed. After my lunch I still wanted to eat something so made spicy noddle soup, then my husband got back from work and I told him to buy ice cream. I finished one and couldn`t help myself and had another one and the third one. I`ve no clue how much sugar it was but I got almost sick. It`s 8pm in the UK now so I may skip my dinner and just go to bed.
It`s interesting how easy it is to shovel so much sugar to your mouth which takes about 10-20min and then you regret it. I don't know, I`m kind of sick now so don`t even know whether it was worth it.
Anyway, I hope tomorrow is a better day and I hope you are doing well today.

I love haagen daas but the calorie count is scary. so don't look and pretend it never happened! lol. it won't set you back loads and you've done excellent so far so don't worry!!

You really shouldn’t be eating under 1000 calories it will damage your body terribly please look after your body it’s a drastic calorie deficit

Hi Rhianna . I'm carefully checking the amounts of vitamins and minerals I consume and I do lack some of potassium, calcium and I think it is vitamin d or e. The rest is 70-100% RDI. I also take vit and minerals including omega supplement. Finer is good too. I know the amount of caps I consume is 1000 but I weight 54.8kg so it's hard to drop anything. We all have those kinda days... I did a weeks worth of them last week. Don’t be too hard on yourself, we’re all human after all. Just pick up where you left off and start fresh tomorrow!

Absolute proof that "not all calories are the same". You couldn't have eaten that quantity of calories in Broccoli, could you? 😀 All the same, you can only write it off as an aberration and try not to have too many in too short a space of time. All the best!

Cross it off and move on, everyone falls off the wagon at some point. It’s part of human nature, don’t feel guilty for having something that gives you pleasure, you know it’s not going to happen every day and you know it’s under your control most of the time. Good luck and keep on believing in yourself.

Under 1000 cals a day is totally counter productive for Fat Loss. You will appear lighter on the Scales but that will mainly be Muscle wastage. Even worse when you have finished it will pike back on because your metabolism will be so slow. That icecream was probably more beneficial as Id imagine your lep and cortisol levels are absolutely out of sync. Obviously to binge like that means your "diet isn't working. Go in with more Calories from healthy clean foods with a good source of Protein and Fats. Use carbohydrates for the purpose of energy and not indulgence and you will see excellent results.

Don't beat yourself up too much we have all done it and will probably do it again. Get back on the diet wagon, tomorrow is a new day 😉

Thanks, I had my moment but I`m back on track. JpCaveFitness- As I mentioned above my RDI (except 2 minerals and 1 vitamin) is very good between 70-100% and that`s much better than many non-weight loss dieters. Please keep in mind I need 1500 cal to maintain my weight and my FS is set for 1200cal. If I decide to do 1000 few days a week I make sure I plan my meals very carefully. I ate the ice creams because I had my moment and not because I`m lacking nutrition. Don`t worry my diet is working and I never feel tired, anxious or stressed.

If your craving ice cream and usually eat the pints go for halo top there low calorie and sooo good!
