Camm's Journal, 10 Jan 08

Today was a productive day. I walked for 35 minutes and ate well. I had oatmeal with sliced bananas and soy milk for breakfast, vegan chili for lunch, apples and peanut butter for a snack and cantaloupe. I planned to eat egg whites for dinner with a little salsa, but I'm not hungry. I plan to work out to my DVD sometime before bed. I put my scale away and I'm not going to get on it until my weigh in on Sunday. I weigh myself at least twice a day and it can be very discouraging, so I'm gonna stay away from it for a few days.

You weigh twice a day? I can imagine how discouraging that would be! I only weigh every now a then, otherwise I'd be so frustrated. Plus it's that much better when it's a GOOD weight loss! Good job on the eating and walking!

I know what you are saying about the scale - I do the same thing. I even found myself weighing up to 3 x's a day. It's amazing how a stupid little machine can have sooo much control. You did the right thing by putting it away. Keep up the good work and have a great weekend!

Good idea putting the scale away....I can't even imagine what you must feel specially if it gos up and down all the time. You are on the right track and I know you will be very happy with your results on Sunday! Keep up the good work!
