Peasy3's Journal, 08 Feb 18

This is why I didn’t record my lower weight yesterday. I was really good food and exercise wise, but woke up with the scale back at 130. When you are training for a marathon, they tell you at the beginning that everyone has their wall. Once you get through that wall, the training gets a little easier. My wall is at 8 miles, and they were right. Once I got past that, the rest of the miles felt more like part of the process vs. hard work. Can that be the same for dieting please? 130 pounds is my wall. I dance slightly at and maybe even below it, but I never confidently get to 128 pounds. Not at 43 years old anyways. When I was 33 and marathon training, 125 was easy to come by.
Maybe this is the universe telling me it’s time to sign up for another 26.2? For now, I’m drinking black coffee to take my mind off of the hunger pains in my stomach. It’s a friend’s birthday and we are going out to karaoke…I already offered to be the designated driver. I want none of the calories that a bar brings.
I made homemade Sofritas last night and topped them with shrimp and romaine lettuce. I worked out, so I portioned out a pretty sizeable bowl for myself and couldn’t finish it. Fell asleep pretty early and woke up hungry again. 130lb wall…come at me Bro!
