Good evening all, I had a full day on duty so my post is a little late. I wanted to share a picture of my awesome breakfast with you. I love the fact that I can eat in the boundaries of a healthy diabetic diet and not have sacrifice taste, visual appeal or being satisfied. I left the table very full this morning. I put up my numbers so that you can see how I put meals together. the sausage is ground pork loin which is better in nutrition than the ground turkey - I just had the butcher grind a lean loin and I seasoned it up myself. the patties are 2oz. there is 200g of polenta and 140g of frozen fresh fruit. Yumm.
