I am getting ready to take the boys for a hike. But before I go I had to record this. I bought a digital scale that measures bmi, body fat%, water, and weight. I was thoroughly disgusted. Now I have two scales and they both say different things. Now I am working to get my new scale to say what my old scale says. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I am seriously considering returning it.

If you ask me, scales are evil...lol. They got me into trouble yesterday when I weighed on day 4 of my detox phase...uh oh...you know what happened next! Major disappointment and an all out oink fest. But I made up my mind to put my scales away and start a new day. I walked an extra mile and a half yesterday to make up for the binge eating I did yesterday and I felt better about myself. Are you still in detox phase? Just wondering. Good luck and have a wonderful hike.

I just want to make one suggestion.....get rid of all the scales!!! They only make us crazy and it sucks! I have found that if I am loosing inches instead of pounds I really feel better about things. Your body structure can really put a damper on a situation! If you are big boned then it won't look like you are loosing as much unless you measure yourself and see that the inches are pealing off also! Scales are weird, doesn't matter if you have 2 of the same kind they will almost always tell you something different....measure yourself and use that as your scale! You are doing great, just keep your chin up!!!

I definitely agree that you should take measurements to keep track at this point. For the record, those scales that measure body fat are very innacurate, especially for women. They only measure the body fat on the lower half of yor body, which is where most women carry the majority of their body fat on their lower half's, so seriously don't sweat it. You are doing so great with your maintenence, be proud!
