2 weeks ago I lost 5lbs in a week. I thought that was pretty awesome but I think I let it get to my head because i started to slack off :( Last week I gained 2lbs so its a step back. I am feeling really demotivated now because it seems that I'm not losing any weight it's just staying constant. I hope I see some progress by the end of the week though. I hope what I'm seeing on the scale is muscle and not fat.

Hey Simplypretentious.. I understand the feeling of being "stuck". Try eating 2-3 citris fruits and drink plenty of water (8-8oz per day). They gave me a RDI of 2000 and I've had some success sticking around 700-800 calories a day. Good luck! Don't lose focus.. no one can lose it but you. YOU CAN DO IT! :)

Don't let one week get you down. The weight that you see on the scale is most likely half water weight. You'd be very surprised how just a couple days of "slacking" on a diet( most likely intake of more carbs and salt) can make you swell up some. Perfect example...Ever had an all out pizza fest one night? Chances are the next day you felt swollen. All the salt from "not so clean" foods swells you up and will make your body take on water. Don't let the numbers going up on the scale bring you down. Eat well, exercise like you were, and it will drop in no time! Keep the chin up!
