Did your spaghetti squash get soft. Mine was still very crisp even after a 1.5 hr bake? I was just curious if thats how it stays?

I don't know how to make spaghetti squash. I'm an older guy living in South Korea and I usually just make salads, mexican tostadas, stir fried veggies and salmon/steak/chicken or ?

@lilpurplebug Yes, it got soft after I baked it for about 1 hour. The trick is to add 1/2-1 cup of water to the pan before you bake them, the steam helps it soften. Also rub the inside of each half with oil and bake them inside-down.

I microwave mine. Cut squash in half lengthwise. Place squash cut-sides-down in a microwave-safe baking dish. ...Microwave on high for about 12 minutes, or until you can easily pierce the squash with a fork. ...Let cool for about 15 minutes, or until squash is cool enough to handle....Remove the seeds and then drag a fork all around to scoop it out in strands... I like mine still a little crispy so I usually do not cook it as long. It also depends on how big your squash is.
