Why didn't my doctor tell me about this????? I did some googling after my last journal entry and discovered that LDL tends to go up after menopause (https://www.webmd.com/menopause/news/20091211/ldl-rises-around-time-of-menopause). Dang. I'll stick to the diet for general health, but it looks like statins might be in my future. :(
