When I was younger and wanted to loose a few pounds, all I had to do was stop with the cokes for a few weeks and presto chango! Now, I have to seriously cut calories and/or Keto for weeks or months, but if I get sloppy and binge on sweets or just eat way too much for one week I gain back all I have worked so hard to loose. It is frustrating. Learning good basic habits is the key, like buying one cookie instead of a whole box, and then only once a month or so instead of every time you enter a store or restaurant. Realizing that the food they bring you on one plate in most restaurants could easily be a meal for three or four people. I think I am getting there. I am tired of carrying too much weight.

Getting older is not fun for many reasons including the slow down in weight loss. You can do it though if you really want to! Commit to 1 month, then 2 and so on until you’re seeing such good results you don’t want to cheat or quit! Good luck!

Agree, Momma6224. I am trying real hard to be successful at finding a reasonable diet I can keep up with for the rest of my life. Nothing drastic.
