Just had a HUGE fight with the 15 yr old. UGH! I usually don't let myself get caught up in the back-and-forth yelling, but I did. Now I feel like crap (literally) and am ready to send her to military school (oh if I could only afford it). The bright side is that I am too angry and upset to eat. :) Is it wrong that I am ready to fast forward about 3-5 years because I can't wait for her to get some common sense (and respect)?

At least you're too angry to eat - arguments here lead me to the kitchen and undermine all my hard work...
I so agree - joining in never gets me anywhere - but it just happens.... the fast forwarding thing sounds awfully peaceful sometimes....

Uh, 3 to 5 years might not help - Just had an argument with my 17 yo, and the 20 yo is going out of town with her boyfriend!

Oh NO, Abba! That is not what I want to hear. Ugh. How do you do it?

How do I do it? Not very well, I admit! I love my daughters very much - it's the only thing that keeps me from murdering them! lol!

I'm just glad I'm not alone in my thoughts and feelings about teen-ager hood. :)
