About 10 years ago I gained 25 pounds when I settled down with my husband. I guess you get comfortable sometimes. Anyway, the weight was still there when I got pregnant with child #1 ~ here comes 75 pounds. I lost all the baby weight, but still had the 25 to go. It started to come off when child #2 decided to come. Luckily, I only gained 27 pounds. For a long time 180 seemed to be the magic #. Then it happened, the weight came again. I happended to be visiting my parents back in 2005 when Dad made everyone get on the scale. I hadn't weighed myself in over 1 & 1/2 years. I started dieting the next day. I was at 230 pounds, and in tears. I lost 45 pounds, kept it off till this year. I realize that this has to be a lifestyle change, not a diet.
