I have had 2 children who are now teens and I never lost all the weight from my youngest, who is now 15. I am 30 pounds overweight for my goal but 50 pounds over for my doctor. This extra weight is making my "delicate" knee hurt all the time. I really don't want another ACL replacement. I have a desk job that forces me to look at a computer all day. I've had some health challenges this past year and I am completely out of shape now starting as a beginner. I'm 41, 5'4" tall. I will walk in our parking lot when I can and I will make an effort to get up at 4 to exercise in the morning, as this is the only time I have to myself. Every night I say "tomorrow is the day". I hope it really is tomorrow. I'm hoping the reminders and challenges along with people like me will help me find success in losing some weight.
