I am 42. I have a 20, 19 and 16 year old. I also have an 18 month old granddaughter. I was a fantastic athlete during school. I am very active now. I gained a lot of weight during my 30's do to depression and not knowing how to handle a few life situations. Last September, an incident happened that pretty much blew my life apart. After a few more depressing months a little more weight, I decided to regain my life back. I joined our Midland YMCA, signed up for the Fitlinxx program which tracks workouts and progress. I have lost 52 pounds. I do not congratulate myself because I never should have let myself get in this fix. I have a long way to go. I am doing this gradually. I do not want to yo-yo. It took a while to get put on, I will not microwave my weight loss. I love a good challenge...
