I'm a 21-year-old college student who's trying to be a little more proactive about her health. Between quitting sports and working a desk job, I've become less and less physically active over the last three years, and it's slowly taking its toll on me. Now I'm trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle and lose the 15 pounds I've gained (I'm 5'3" so it shows). I figure I better do it now since I'm genetically predisposed to diabetes and high blood pressure, and I'd like to avoid both as long as possible!
So this is my starting point. I think the calorie counter is going to be a great way hold myself accountable for how much I eat and exercise – I have high hopes for success!
