Tried many other "diets" over the course of 7 years, before finally finding out about "Intuitive Eating".
Within just 6 months of learning how to "listen" to my body's natural cues of "hunger" and "satisfaction", I lost 25 of my excess 30 pounds!
But, I stopped "listening" to my body's cues (having viewed this as a "temporary fix" for my weight problem), and I eventually gained all of the weight back.
This time I am seeing it as something I need to do FOR MY LIFETIME, and I know that I can't make "excuses". Once in a while, it's okay to eat a little more than my body "needs".... everyone does this! But, if I let that get out of hand, I'll end up where I started.
I will never "diet" again... man-made rules & restrictions aren't for me! I know that God designed my body to eat "intuitively", and I'm going to stick with this, and lean on Him for my support!
