I just turned 30! I am a middle school teacher and have gone up and down in weight since I was in high school. I was fairly slim when I had my son 2 years ago, but have been unable to get the weight off. I feel like I don't eat much and watch it way more than other people. I always feel like I am depriving myself. I read the South Beach Diet over Christmas, and it struck a nerve. I saw that I do eat a lot of carbs, but I really thought they were "good" carbs. I actually feel a lot more satisfied on this diet, than when I am watching it on other diets I have been on. I want to lose about 20 lbs.
