I'm a single mom to one toddler boy. He's very active and definitely keeps me on the run whenever I'm home with him. I'm a sign language interpreter and have a pretty sedentary job. I do my best to eat a "clean" and organic diet, void of preservatives or processed anything. I have a gym membership and see a trainer one day a week. My goal is to loose 2.5 to 3 more pounds of fat and be in the best shape of my life.
Working out is my anti-depressant. Being strong is what I need to survive daily life. Carrying groceries, handling a toddler, diaper bag and purse at the same time. I also want my family to be active and to do that, I need to be the example. I also feel like everyone needs someone or something to keep them in check. And that' is why I joined fatsecret. :)
