I have 5 kids and I gained about 80 lbs with each pregnancy. Fortunately I was able to lose most of the weight between each pregnancy but I still find myself 25 lbs higher than my wedding/pre-pregnancy weight.

I enjoy exercising regularly 5-6 days a week. I do various workouts with my favorite being a Boot Camp class at the Y twice a week. I also do the Elliptical often and I read while I'm doing it so I'm not pushing myself very much! I do intervals on the treadmill as well but I really have to pump myself up for those. I do not naturally enjoy running! I have the P90X and Insanity workouts at home and I do those when I can't get to the Y. They really kick my butt!

My biggest problem is portion control. I eat fairly well most of the time but when I do eat, I eat & eat & eat until I'm ready to explode. When I was younger I could get away with that but now that I'm 44 years old, I find that I am struggling with my weight more than ever. I also drink more Diet Coke than I should and not as much water.

I enjoy challenges, they really motivate me to track my food, drink my water and push myself during my workouts. I am fairly new to FatSecret and am looking for some buddies!
