I do lots of reading like most of us on here. I just read this article and it's a nice no nonsense approach. Not for everyone but it's an interesting read.

Well I am back on the wagon after the last few months without a gym. the gym where I live reopens on June 25 and have been there 5 days now and the improvements back to where I was are starting to show. Thankfully my cardio and weights were not too far off from where I was. During the time away from when the gym closed because of Covid, my job has been extremely busy working 6 days a week which included most days at 12 hour shifts. Still doing that but working out 4 days a week at the gym to help myself back to where I was. Also I have added a challenge to myself to have least 100 ounces of water a day! I hope everyone has been staying well and staying safe! Life journey now continues!

Gaining 0.2 kg a Week

well it's been 2 weeks since I tried my new goal for % of carbs, fat and protein. have been fairly good at trying to attain them on a weekly basis. it does make me think twice before consuming but I am happy with another pound gone! my Dr said this past week she is good at where I am now so that's good to hear. she is more interested now in toning / muscle work so I have increased by weight sets by 25%. So with positive reinforcement I continue my journey. I am glad that people see me now and say...."hey that's a healthy looking weight loss you got going on!". So from that all I can say is encourage, support and listen to each other as we try to reach our goals!
Also when you hit a plateau/rough sport..... just remind yourself of the reasons you started this journey. "Reason" are the motivating factor to keep us going for the long haul!
