Haven't been exactly doing weight watchers but have found certain foods that trigger weight gain for me . . the biggest being wheat. I eat it now and then but certainly not on a daily basis. It swells my stomache up very quickly.

One can always hope that despite a few small relapses the scale will still tip in her way . . . NOT!
Okay, here is where I got off the driven path
1. WINE . . I love it but cannot drink it and lose weight. It also makes food taste so much better that I tend to grab one more piece a little too often.
2. POPCORN . . . that damned popcorn machine calls me whenever I am back in that area of the store. It smells warm, buttery, inviting. I ate more this week. I think this dreary weather is getting to me and I feel bored and out of sorts and it makes me want comfort food more. Also there are always other people back there with a cup of popcorn talking and it is easy to want to be part of the comraderie.
3. Superbowl. . .I am so not a football person but I was invited to a friends. I brought my chili . . which I really like, but I did not bring the low/no fat condiments that I eat. I brought whole cheese, regular sour cream, regular taco chips because "for just this afternoon" it will be okay. Well, it all adds up folks!
So, this has gotten me to think about maintenance . . and what a joke that must be. ReALLY!! You diet for months and have a hard time losing even a half pound many weeks and then all of a sudden because you have reached goal weight, you can start eating until you find the amount of points where you gain weight???!!! I am no rocket scientist but I would venture to say any amount of points is going to put that weight back on. I guess this must be the shining light at the end of the tunnel to keep you going, but I can't see how maintenance works. You are either on the program and losing, or off and gaining it back. Is our metabolism supposed to change or what?? If we didn't have sluggish metabolisms we would not be here in the first place.
Just a thought because I am not happy that I gained a little weight back much less didn't lose.
I'm still in for the haul. Just wish I wasn't haulin' so much!
