Well, I see its been a while. Been very busy with all kinds of things. I hit 170 a few weeks ago so am now on my maintenance, but not even sure what that is yet. I have had to buy a whole new wardrobe in two sizes smaller. When I started in May I was a large or extra-large sweater/coat/jacket. Pant size was 38 inches. Weight was 220 lbs. As of the end of September I was 170, pant size 32, jacket/coat/sweater medium to small!! I feel sexy and hot. I'm 71 but feel 50. Blood pressure is completely normal without pills. So is cholesterol. I'm moving without pain (for the most part) in my knees and ankles. Now, gotta keep it that way after the investment in new clothes! AND, gotta keep from boring my friends with the new physical me (lol).

I've done it!!! I've reached my goal! Bought new clothes at two sizes smaller than in May! Was at a family thing yesterday and everyone was amazed, including ME!!! Now it's up to me to keep it off!

If the scale in the gym is to be believed, I was 175 WITH shoes! If that's really the case, I have reached my goal. But I'll wait until next weigh in - in 11 days - to celebrate. Meanwhile, I really was craving an ice cream. Was in Costco yesterday and had a vanilla/chocolate swirl in a cup. Was being mindful so when I was satisfied after less than half, I threw the rest away. My mother wouldn't be pleased, but she's not here! Sorry mom! Today I did 1 hour, 1 minute and 35 seconds on the treadmill (wanted to burn 300 cals). I bought a couple of new shirts (slim fit!) and some new pants - all in anticipation of reading the goal. I'm feeling really good. And, if I can do it, anyone can!

Had a weigh in today. I don't weigh myself between official weigh ins so I wasn't sure what was going on although I know I'm looking good! LOL
Anyway, I have broken the 180 mark - I was 179 at today's weigh in. That's another 4 lbs in two weeks! The goal is 175 so I'm just about there. My belly size is also down from 38.2 inches to an amazing 36.5 inches. I'm even losing belly fat! I attribute this to an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill. Problem is that even the clothes that I bought in June are too big! And I see the difference! By the way, I'm 71 years old. So I guess it's never too late to be healthy!
