Ugh.
I have a sinus infection or something. I'm going to blame Ike for stirring up the air and clogging my head!
I'm in Northeast Texas and we got a helluva windstorm Saturday afternoon/night that left a lot of folks without power - luckily, ours stayed on the whole time. We were also lucky that no trees/limbs/debris crushed our house during the storm. Some of our neighbors were not so lucky.
And it's off to the doctor for me. I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks - maybe when they weigh me at the doc's office I'll be pleasantly surprised? Who knows! Their scales always seem to give me higher weights than the one I normally use.

I'm really trying to stretch my money out (isn't everybody these days?). Can anyone recommend some economical Atkins recipes?
I just bought and cooked a whole chicken for the first time ever - then made broth (I felt so domestic)! I'll definitely be doing that again. I also eat eggs cooked alll sorts of ways. I'm looking for some more variety to throw into my routine.

If any of you low carbers have a hankering for pizza...
This chick figured out a way to make pizza crust out of cauliflower - sounds unlikely, right? Well, I made some of my own, and it's GOOD! Give it a shot next time you're having pizza cravings.
I can't believe it's cauliflower pizza!
