This past weekend I went to see my New England Patriots take on the Chargers at Gillette Stadium! Good news is that they won! More good news is that my tailgating buddies, who haven't seen me since well before I embarked on this journey, really noticed my transformation. Bad news is that all that "tailgating", plus two other consecutive cheat days leading up to game day, caused me to add almost 7 pounds to my weight after having reached my goal weight on the day after New Years day (My previous weigh-in date). As you all know, it can and in many cases, will be a constant battle. I will have to "buckle down" and make an extra effort if I want to show a loss on my next weigh-in day. Stay tuned!

Woo hoo! Last August, when I weighed 246 lbs., I set a goal to reach 200 lbs. by New Years Eve. It took a few extra days to get there, but I am still pleased with my progress!

I figured I would weigh myself, a day earlier than my normal weekly weigh-in day, because tonight we have family coming over for Christmas Eve and, of course, there will be all sorts of food and desserts, so I may show a little weakness........ lol!!!
With about 6 pounds to drop, to reach my goal by New Years Day, and one more food-filled gathering on New Years Eve, I may fall a few pounds short and be forced to set a new target date of February 1st or so.
