This is where the trouble starts! I've had a steady weight loss but this is where all goes to hell! The next few days is for Christmas baking! I will be baking up a storm of Christmas goodies because that's what I do. My three adult children depend on it, and look forward to it every year and each have their special requests, but too be sure, they are not diet sweets, they're loaded with sugar, oil, fat etc. Am I going to eat any of this? Of course I am! There really is no point in saying I won't, because I would be lying to myself!
I've been doing well with how I have been proceeding with this weight loss quest! My Type 1 Diabetic daughter looked at my self imposed diet on here last night and thinks I'm doing great! It's going to be tough over the holidays to keep it up faithfully as I have been, so i think for now, I'll resume after the holidays. I'd rather go at it consistently until I reach my goal!
I know that I can achieve this, so I bid you adieu until the New Year!

The past few days, I've educated myself on the different fats and which are good or bad. Still eating tons of veggies. I've discovered the world of smoothies! They satisfy my sweet tooth and that constant urge I had to have a glass of juice by my side. I do work from home and I'm on the phone and have to keep those vocal cords lubricated!
I have been very exacting in the record of everything I consume and last night being my end of week, I went over everything to see if there was anything I would change or if there was something in there that is a no-no. I think the biggest no-no seemed to be the meal I had with ground beef, the fat was horrible, but the protein was excellent. The other thing was the two tiny cubes of cheese I treated myself to. But...and this is a big but...it would be nice to cheat (don't tell anybody) once in a while!

I think I'm eating more than I ever have! I don't think I'm following any special diet, but haven't been eating wheat products, cut dairy wayyyyyy down, huge veggie intake, little to no sugar and cut down on fats, eating some fruit and flax seed, and no sugary juices or pop. Drinking lots of lemon water. I do need to increase fiber! I went out and bought some low carb foods and more veggies today.
