Well, this weekend was a blast! I know I haven't updated this in a while, but I went out of town for a staff retreat, in which we basically played the Hunger Games all day Saturday. I overdid it on calories by a little bit, and I had a hard time keeping hydrated, but I did get a lot of walking and running in, and that's not including setting up and packing up the site. I got back yesterday, but I was too tired to report anything, and even though I drank like 5 glasses of water before bed, I woke up incredibly dehydrated. Therefore, I'm just going to have to focus today on getting back on track!

The fit test is again today, and I'm a little nervous, honestly. I know I've been working my butt off for the last two weeks since the last one, but I'm afraid that my deviance from the Insanity regimen for the past two days (even though I pushed myself like a crazy person on Friday with Pure Cardio AND Cardio Abs!) will make my performance worse. Then again, whenever I first wake up, I always don't feel like working out (I have to work out in the evenings), and by the afternoon, I'm raring to go!

On a good note, some pictures taken of me recently are definitely showing my weight loss and inches losses! I haven't measured myself, but since I felt so dehydrated this morning, I didn't want to measure myself and get inaccurate results. But I know that by the end of today after I eat right, I'll feel right as rain!

The party I attended last night was really fun, and I splurged and had a glass of Zinfandel :) Also, the entire time I was there, I felt like I was STARVING. Eventually, after my meal, I had another protein bar (I had one on the way to the party to take the edge off of my appetite, that's why there's two listed), and that seemed to cure my munchies... until this morning. I woke up starving again, and I haven't really woken up starving since starting this, but that's because my dinner is generally more well rounded than my dinner last night was (mostly due to my roomie's amazing cooking!).

This weekend, I'm going to a staff retreat for a camp I attend during the summer as a counselor :) I'm really looking forward to seeing all of my friends again, and I'm not super worried about missing pure cardio since we're doing a hunger games theme so I will literally be running around all day :) I'm going to bring my shakeology (since I'm officially addicted!) and some protein bars and prepare for a weekend of fun!

I haven't lost much weight over the past couple of days, but I kind of expected that since I haven't been sticking 100% to the diet plan (though I've been doing pretty good!) and I'm trying to focus on getting even more water in my body :) Cardio Circuit today, and since I'm not going to be here for cardio abs, I'm going to do cardio abs today too :) DIG DEEP!
