This time I know my scale is on the right spot so I have lost 5 pounds and I can tell it in my jeans!!! I am having a mental talk with myself today to stay on track. I think doing the "Can You Stick To Your Goal" will help me through November. It makes me feel accountable just like recording my food, tracking my exercise and recording my weight. So glad I ran across FatSecret on my search for something else.

Treadmill Stats: 60 min, 2.0 incline, 3.3 speed, 3.21 miles, 310 calories, 134 average heart rate, 143 maximum heart rate.
I love having my Ipod for the treadmill. Today I listened to an episode of This American Life which is exactly 1 hour long. Made it much easier to stay going for an hour.
Forgot to wear my pedometer yesterday, but have it on today. I have errands to do so I will be more mobile.
Ate way too many snacks today. I baked a pumpkin pie for my husband and had a piece. Need to be careful about the sweets.

Wore my pedometer yesterday. I only walked 3871 steps. That is with going to the gym. Not enough movement. Unfortunately I have sedentary hobbys which doesn't help.

I joined the "can you stick to your goals" challenge. My goal is to walk 3 days a week. It seems realistic for me although I realize I should be walking every day. When to the gym to use the treadmill. Stats: 56 min, 1.5 incline, 3.4 speed, 3.39 miles, 308.2 calories, 176 average heart rate, 235 maximum heart rate. A good start.
When I have gone to the gym on a regular basis I love it. It is much easier for me to motivate myself by going to the gym. Seems silly when all I have to do is walk out the door and hit the trail. But I have trouble making myself do that. But ya do what works!!!

Today I was at an antique flea market and, even though I was hungry, waited until I got home. Starving of course. But all they had was some greasy barbcue. Now that was a good choice for me so I give myself a pat on the back.
Dinner had to be a Weight Watchers frozen meal. Needed something and I just didn't want to cook. Actually it wasn't that bad, but there were potatoes which are a no no on the South Beach quick start.
