I've had lots fewer sweets and treats this week. Unfortunately, also am having an osteo flare, and sciatica on top of it, so I'm a bit rattled. Mood has been better. I am going to eat fewer low nutrition, high calorie foods next week. Knowing that there is going to be that reminder in my e-mail is definitely motivating. Thank you!!

Well, back after a long, long absence. I haven't eaten badly. I went down to 157 pounds. After a few really stressful weeks, I've gone back to 160. It's only a bit, but I'm tired of it and don't want it to get worse.
I've actually joined a gym. I haven't gone yet. I had not been feeling well during the heat wave we had here and the gym does not have air conditioning (ok because it's a block from the beach). Honestly, though, I am really holding back from going. I know I'll be older that almost anyone there.
Work is good: I'm a jewelry artist and getting better, learning more. Family is very supportive, too. My son lost lots of weight on his own and is keeping it off.
The challenge is the usual sweet tooth and lack of self-discipline.

Tiring weekend. Went to play Saturday, loved play but also these monstrous brownies they serve there.
Busy around house Sunday.
Not too sure how I gained THREE pounds: that's about 10,000 extra calories in a week, and I just did not eat that much. Pork chop recipe was salty so that may be it.
Goal: smaller meals, fewer snacks, drink water.
