Spent a wonderful evening celebrating my sister in law's 60 birthday, but that included a few adult beverages and a few snacks that were not really on my plan. And, the scales reflected that slip this morning. However... what is life if I cannot live it! I expect t his to be gone in a day or so, as I drink more water and stick to a clean eating plan.

I'm having some serious troubles with both my knees. I am investigating it with my GP.. waiting for an MRI, but that may take ages to get. I am not into pain killers, apart from some anti inflammatories.. but this is getting worse and not better. It is inhibiting me from taking much more than a slow walk for my exercise, and then only about 30 minutes at a time. My doctor thinks arthritis, and although I know I do have a bit of that in my knees.. ( had the X-ray ), I am thinking its something more. Otherwise, how can I have medial pain in both knees that started at exactly the same time, and is getting worse and not helped much by anti inflammatories. I feel I have done something to injure them, although for the life of me, I can't think what. So, I guess I just wait for the MRI and see what it shows. Its extremely frustrating!

My plan to eat salad yesterday, didn't pan out exactly as I would have liked. Reno's done, but the clean up that follows is ongoing. I attacked the dining room first, then the kitchen... exhausted and aching at the end of the day, so his nibs took us out to a Japanese restaurant for lunch.. ( I love Japanese food, always feel "light" when I eat there! Rarely have that overfill feeling! ) And for dinner, we just ate some warmed up leftovers.
Today, its back to clean eating, and lower carbs for a few days, at least until May 1st!

Getting some reno's done in the house, and the kitchen is in a total upheaval! Lunch and dinner yesterday, eaten out, and breakfast this morning. Sodium intake through the roof, resulting in massive bloating ( thank goodness I took my rings off last night! ) and weight gain this am. Not just a pound or even two, but 5 pounds!! OVERNIGHT!!
They should be done this morning, and I will drink tons of water and eat salad for lunch and dinner today with a bit of protein. I should have this under control by the end of the month in a few days!

Just reviewing my food entries for the last week and realize I didn't track my dinner for the last two days! Breakfast and lunches.. right on, but no dinner was entered... not worried.. I was very conscious of what I was eating, and kept it within my limits with the right portions, etc.. but for some reason, forgot to actually track it! Must do better this week!
