Ok, so I have a slightly funny weight loss story. This weekend I was literally forced to go on a shopping spree. Saturday morning I left out for the mall to help my mother buy some makeup for her THIRD wedding. So after the MAC makeover she leaves. Well I was going to leave the store but then my daughter insists on going to Journey's. As we were headed down the aisle I decided to adjust my skirt. Well how surprised was I when I went to grab the top of my skirt and I was grabbing the top of my undies instead. My skirt had started falling halfway down my behind and my undies were exposed. I made a mad dash for the Journey store to fix my skirt. My daughter yells "Mom you're so embarrassing!", like I was stripping on purpose. Anyway needless to say I was forced to go on a shopping spree, since most of my clothes are fitting me quite loosely these days. The thing is is that I was waiting to lose another 10 lbs before I bought new clothes since I'm kinda lingering between sizes. I just picked the smaller size since that will be the next step anyway. Fun times at the mall!!

So I have a visitor at the moment so my weight gone up a little, but no worries, It'll come back down soon. On Friday I had actually showed a 2 lbs weight loss and now it's up 2.5 lbs. Goodness does water weigh a lot! Anywho by next weight in I'll be like a Biggest Loser contestant and drop like 10 lbs in a week...as if!

Yes!...I hit my firt goal of 220, I am so very proud of myself and I look forward to hitting the next goal of 200. I am seeing all of the things that I loved about my body returning; my legs are becoming long and lean, my arms are getting tight, my waist is shrinking in and my back is showing definition. That's what keeps me going because if I only went by my scale I'd feel like all of my hard work is not paying off as I want it to. Cheers to another 20 baby!

Good 7 days but I really feel like I need to increase my sleeping time because by thurs I am really beat. I get up at 5 am every morning to get my daughter ready for school and then I usually don't sleep until about 10 or 11. So I have a very long day. Working on getting my workouts in earlier in the evening by having a light snack in the car on the way home. And before anyone says it...I am not a morning person and I have tried to work out in the morning for 2 weeks and I hated every moment of it. So I'll have to work on being a little more organized and using every bit of my time wisely to get in my workout and get to bed earlier. Speaking of...goodnight.
