So I went in for my weigh in yesterday. Nothing. No loss, no gain. I've been working out and following the diet 100% for the past few days, and nothing. I even quit having my english muffins and peanut butter in the morning. I'd been having Fiber One. Not exactly EM with PB, but its been okay. I even had acorn squash as a starch one day. The counselor said that if I don't get a loss come Monday, they'll send my journal into the dietitian or something. I don't know what it is. Maybe I'll finally get my TOM. I've been off the pill since Sept 9, and I'm almost two weeks late. I guess being PG would be a good explanation for why I'm not losing weight, but I've taken a few tests, and all have been not pregnant. I'm guessing its two weeks of PMS. I'm hoping that once I get TOM, that I can finally start losing weight. I'm just a little screwed up right now. I haven't lost my motivation, as I want 10 lbs gone by Thanksgiving, but I'm guessing I'll really have to ramp up my workouts. If I have to do that, doesn't it kind of mean that changing my eating really hasn't helped?? I'm sure its not hurting me, but its not doing its part right now... I'm going to be good this weekend, and act as the DD. A group of us are heading down to Madison, WI for the UW Badgers football game. This will be a test of will power, but I've had bigger tests, and I know I can do it. (A week or so after starting the diet we went out to dinner with another couple.. That basket of onion rings almost made me cry, I wanted one soooo bad!)

I never really paid attention to what my body was doing unless it was doing crappy, before I started this diet. I can absolutely see how a body can focus on the main ailment, and let the other jobs it had been doing go by the wayside. Since I got sick on October 5, I haven't lost any weight. I've been following the diet, with very very few cheats, but I think it had been so focused on getting me well, that I was stuck. I'm feeling pretty much 100% now, and I'm guessing that the weight will start coming off again. I was just looking at my graph, and it really didn't flatten out for any period of time until the 5th.
Here's to finally kicking the cold, and much more weight loss in the near future!

Almost back to where I was weight wise pre-cold. The cold isn't gone yet, but I've started to feet a little better every day.
I would REALLY like to be down another 10 lbs by Thanksgiving, so I'm going to really kick it in the butt. I need to find a filling alternative to an english muffin with peanut butter for breakfast. But its soooo good! I also eat my breakfast in the car during my 1 hour commute every day, so I'm working on finding something easy to eat.. They gave me a list of ideas, but not many are that easy to throw together. I should probably start liking yogurt or something.. Maybe more steak in the morning would do it.. I'm sure I'll find something.
