I started Fastic last week, and I feel like it's helping quite a bit. My body must not metabolize at all if there's food in the stomach, especially at night. This app has gotten me off the craziness of binge eating at night. It's not easy, and I fight hunger - especially yesterday. The nice thing about it is that you can eat most anything (within reason) during your non-fasting period which is an 8 hour window. I hope and pray it continues to help me.

I'm going to try intermittent fasting. I was surprised to learn that it's fasting for 16 hours, so that leaves an 8 hour window from noon to 8 pm. I have the Fastic app. It says to drink plenty of water, so my coffee in the morning is going to be my crutch.

Well, at least I'm not gaining a ton of weight. I feel like Seinfeld in the episode of Even Steven. I seriously don't think that starving myself is the answer, not at my age. I'm too prone to not care. But I do want to lose weight, so I'm trying not to have breakfast. Intermittent fasting. Does that count?? I don't think it's going to work. Sure works well for my son. He's lost the 40 pounds that I've gained in the last year. It's the weekend, and I try not to worry about weight loss over the weekend.

I guess I gotta learn not to eat Chinese food. Too much rice, too many carbs. I may have to make a return visit back to the doctor - more meds? I'd like to keep trying on my own.
