Ouch, 4kg gained since started work end of June. Time to put a bit more effort and focus on meals instead of easy ordering at thuisbezorgd & some better stress management with steps on the walkpad instead of snacking :)
I am still lifting 2 days a week and doing 1 Pilates/mobility (via trainwell app with a trainer) so that’s solid, there were no changes in my measurement.
Someone recommended me to try semaglutide for endometriosis because we have hard time losing weight like pcos ladies due to inflammation and pain, but I figure first to get the other factors back in order, and if the last 10kg is still stubborn, then I will consider hormonal mediations to help me maintain back into 65-70kg range which I changed from 75kg because I maintained 75kg for long enough, it is still “overweight” with “obese” fat levels range currently, based on pretty arbitrary measures.
I do wonder if I can maintain 65kg and still think about trying sometimes, obviously my motivation to lose more weight is extremely low like my brain says I already lost 70kg and maintained it for over 6 years. Just relax and enjoy life now but part of me still want to go for the final 10 kg (without strict restrictive diets which trigger my reactive overeating episodes)
By the way — does anyone else with endometriosis have experience with semaglutide medication? Often the progestin / metformin medications we take cause weight gain or complicate the weight loss process, so it’s not really ideal.
In my situation I 100% know it’s snacking habits and old all or nothing diet behaviours, those did creep back in since starting work so I would get those back in order before talking to my endo doc/specialist about semaglutide.
Either way, it’s definitely time for some better coping and more focus on taking better care of myself in this extremely transformative period of my life — there’s a lot on my shoulders at the moment, and I have the tools I need to navigate the challenges, I just need to use them but man oh man, Mama is sure tired of the bullshit ;)

Added melkunie coffee protein shake and less jersey milk into the coffee today. Bumped up the protein, lowered the fat & calories content, still delicious! Could help with long term body recomp-ing 🤔
