I always hate tracking my weight when I've gone up instead of down, but I make myself so others can see that weight loss is not linear. You will go up, down, plateau, etc. It is part of the journey. What matters is that you don't give up. If you struggle for a day, a week, a month, or even a year, get back to your journey! You're not alone in this. We're all here with similar, if not the same, goals in mind.

Ugh, my family wanting to eat out is killing me. It's so hard to find low calorie options at restaurants if they don't offer salads. Not to mention, the amount of sodium is insane. Hopefully, this is just water weight cause I didn't go over my calorie intake yesterday, but my sodium was much higher than normal.

Whenever I'm stuck I often think to myself "What's the point? I'm doing all this work and not seeing results." Give yourself time. Be patient with your body.

I always feel tremendous guilt when I go over my set calories for the day. We went out to eat with some of our friends we don't see often cause they live a few hours away. I ordered wings so that I'd at least get some protein in. I have felt horrible since. It's truly amazing how your body adapts and reacts to what you put in it. We have to go out to eat tomorrow with family (they want chinese), and I'm honestly dreading it a bit. I've gotten to the point where I'd rather cook my own healthy food at home than go out 😅
If only the past version of myself could see me now
