Still not well, but feeling a little bit better today. I'm aiming for Monday to jump back into Insanity, though I haven't decided if I want to pick up where I was or start back at the beginning. I suppose it doesn't matter, since I'm planning a second round anyway.
The last couple of days have been ROUGH on nutrition. I've had no appetite. I've had a horrible sore throat. I've been lacking in time. Consequently, my total calories have been significantly under 1000. That's NOT a good thing.
Here's hoping that today I can start working on my nutrition a bit more...crank up the fluids & vitamins...and hopefully be back to health by next week.

Its Saturday, and I am POOPED. I am currently on Day 13 of Insanity, which includes my oh so favorite Pure Cardio AND...dah dah dah dah!!!! I get to do Cardio Abs as well! Yayyyyyy NOT.
Pure cardio is complete, though I'm saving my lovely abdominal workout for early evening, sometime before my last meal. I just didn't have enough in the tank to get both workouts done back to back. I WILL get them both done TODAY though...no slip ups, no excuses, no oopsies. HELL NO. I'm working too hard to cheat on myself.
Diet wise, I'm doing really well with my food choices, staying within RDI, and drinking tons of water. Yesterday's numbers were just about perfect (50% PROTEIN, 30% net carbs, 20% fats)...if only every day could be that great.
Still no changes on the scale. I'm going to hold steady through the rest of next week, when I'm due for a second set of measurements. I took a sneak peak on a couple of measurements earlier this week, and things looked good, so I'm not terribly upset by the scale...yet. If weight doesn't start moving down, I may have to re-examine the diet end of the program, playing with it a few days until I figure out the culprit. On a positive note, at least I know I'm not losing muscle. I'd definitely see movement on the scale if that were the case.
Tomorrow is rest day...I'll do some stretching, but otherwise, I'm planning on being a homebody. I fully plan on remaining in my jammies ALL day, and only doing basic cleaning and prepping. Gotta get some recovery in before next week, when the new job starts.

Day 12 Insanity - Cardio Power & Resistance: DONE. I'm feeling a little puny today, and really really didn't want to work out, but once I got through the warmup, I couldn't tell the difference between exhaustion and feeling puny anyway, so I just pushed through. I blame it on a lack of water yesterday. I more than made up for it today.
I feel like an island surrounded by a raging storm. Everyone in my household is sick except for me. I'm pounding the vitamins & veggies...hopefully this illness passes me over.
