I’m keeping on keeping on. I realize that I don’t have to do 2100 calories everyday. I can forgive myself when I mess up and go over a couple of hundred calories or so. It’s a much slower process with small-sized yo-yos but it’s progress nonetheless. I didn’t gain all this weight in a short period of time so I’m ok to lose it slowly.

It’s a slow journey. But at least this way I can keep the weight off in the long run.

I’m feeling much better about my weight loss journey. I know that I like to use food to give me comfort and my weight gain was a testament of that. Using prayer and meditation when I’m not feeling all that great inside really does work and I don’t have to deal with the guilt and disgust of overeating.
