I have decided to switch my diet or live it to Slim fast. I have tried it in the past and have been successful with it. I will use the slim fast shakes 2x's a day and eat a healthy meal for lunch. I will also have one or two healthy snack per day depending on the calories in them. I also will watch my calorie intake and drink plenty of water and increase my activity. I have a knee replacement so I am limited on some of my activites but I can walk, ride the exercise bike and I also like to lift hand held weights. I can also use the resistance bands. So here I go and I hope to be successful this time. I liked the South Beach diet but it was hard for me to follow and I just kept yo-yoing because I am not a meat or protien eater but I do like the protien shakes that slim fast carries.

Not going to weigh in today because I don't want to see if I've failed! I admit to being a cheater today! A food cheater that is....lol But right now the scales just scares me so I will wait and weigh in later. Ok I am a chicken, too. I've been so busy I know I haven't stuck to the diet as well as I should. Been under a lot of pressure and stress and not handling it as well as I could....so I went to the fridge.
I will try to do better from now on!

Have been really busy so I've had some trouble following the diet but I do my best. Sometimes when I'm not at home I try to just make the best selections. Work has been @#!! if you know what I mean. Sould get better after this week and then I know I can do better on the diet. Been under too much stress and I don't handle stress very well. Gotta work on that. Only lost 1lb in about 3wks. Gotta work on that, too! kayless

Losing 0.1 kg a Week

Just checking in and I'm still making changes in my eating habits! Also am only aiming for a 1-2lbs weight loss per week on the advice of my doctor. My goals are to become fit and healthy and make my eating plan a way of lifestyle for the rest of my life. Tried to walk today but I had to turn around and come home because I'm a bit of a whimp in the cold weather.....it's snowing like crazy out there and it's freezing...temp is 16degrees with a wind chill of 1 and that's just toooooooooo cold for me! But at least I did try.....my hubby went jogging and did not turn around and come back, he went his usual 5mi. He doesn't mind the cold temps! The skin on my face is still burning and I had it covered........I admit I'm a whimp in cold temps! I'll go ride the exercise bike inside today instead. later, kayless
