Just a quick check-in to let ya'll know how it's going... I'm doing a lot of slow healing and I'm feeling pretty good. I've really stopped focusing on the scale so I have no idea how much weight I've lost if any. Just trying to log my food everyday and start to make a habit out of this lifestyle change. I feel healthier :) my stomach isn't bloated like it usually is and my skin is clearing up. I always feel so good when I'm eating right. So any hoot hope all is well for everyone :)

Ladies and Gentlemen... I am proud to report that my last surgery was a SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!! Had my 8 week post op appointment yesterday and I feel better than I have in years! I have a long road of recovery ahead including pyhsical therapy and alot of muscle rebuilding but I am ready!!!!! There is someone on here in particular that I would like to say a special thank you too....and she doesnt even know how special she is to me! Jenn you are amazing and every time I fall I hear a little roar pushing me to continue.. I look forward to hearing about your ups and downs, your progress and failures, and your continued success despite your tribulations! Heres to you! I am finally ready to ROAR with you!

Started logging my food today... I had forgotten how easy it is to go over calories and keep carbs low... sigh.... I had gotten into the habit of pre-logging food before...and it helped to keep me on track and remind me not to overeat...and I'm ready to succeed so pre-logging is good... I'm taking babysteps but at least I'm moving forward... I dont feel much loss so have decided to weigh in every other week until I can excercise as I dont want to discourage myself with a number, but rather encourage myself with an overall feeling of better health.

Very happy with my first week loss!!!! I wasnt being as strict on my diet but I still avoided bingeing which is very hard becauseI'm literally sitting at home all day healing from surgery. I have been trying to get up and around for at least half an hour everyday by giving myself little chores. Yesterday I super cleaned the restroom and did two loads of laundry in addition to the little chores I have to do ( make the bed keep the house picked up and doing dishes) I'm trying to add chores slowly so that I don't hinder healing. Three more weeks until I see the doc again and I feel better than I have in 3 years. I do get tired very easily so there is alot of resting going on, but thats too be expected. My 3 lb loss has encouraged me to want to follow my doet more reasonably. Crossing my fingers for another 3 lbs next week :p
