Not weighing myself today.
Instead i went for a walk this morning off approx 4 miles with about 300 feet of elevation gain and drop, intend to do this Monday to Friday (Always used to do this to control weight in the past and it works for me).
Will jump on scale on Saturday and plan to do a 10 mile walk around a loop i already have marked on at the weekend.
Bought AG1, i am a scottish guy, we do not eat well in general and although it tastes minging and is not cheap it will probably give me some vitamins / minerals that i lack.
Walk was great this morning and i feel better about working now as i have already done something with my day (self employed)

Guess what,
Broke my ankle, been on the couch since last weigh in and started eating takeaways.
I am now able to walk again and so have to start from basically my original weight, rather depressing.
Actually astonished at how fast I can gain weight, very scary!

Did have 2 takeaways this week but got back on the good eating
I figure its almost a month now and 1 takeaway a week versus what i used to do is a huge difference.
Planning to climb the local hill when work done today and cannot wait (Its a really steep climb but i am getting fitter and i am looking forward to it being a bit easier than last time. I am excited to be working towards the point where its easy to walk up

Losing 2.4 kg a Week

So i believe on the 4th May i decided to try and seriously cut down on 4 things
1. Chocolate
2. Takeaways
3. Soft drinks
4. Fried breakfast foods.
Normal consumption was
1. Chocolate at least 1x per day but probably twice
2. 3 takeaways per week, maybe 4
3. Soft drinks, well big bottles of juice with takeaways so probably 3 litres pw
4. Fried breakfast foods, 5/6 days a week
............
i did have a period where i cracked around 10 days ago
2 takeaways in 3 days and also had chocolate and juice each time.
But that is it, i am feeling a lot better, despite only having lost a few lbs.
Managed to climb a local hill for first time too, had to stop 5 times but climbing mountains is how i lost weight in the past.
Final thing, i have become really concious that i ate food after dinner 100% of the time, this is clearly not food I need but food i want and i have about 5 days ago stopped allowing myself this.

So previously
I ate bad breakfast foods, bacon and sausage regularly / daily
I ate chocolate daily and sometimes a lot of chocolate
I ate takeaways 3/4 times per week
I drank fizzy drinks with takeaways but to get value ordered the 2 litre bottle not the can of juice.
Not done any of the above since the 4th of May and what seems odd to me now is i am not really craving these things like i used to. Previously i would walk through fire to get chocolate now i am not bothered at all..
Unsure if this is normal, i quit drinking smoking 20 years ago and drinking 15 years ago and currently have the same desire for chocolate and a can of coke as i do for a pint and a cigarrette, its really weird i almost feel like i have kicked a sugar and fat addiction (This may change but for now i have done 12 days without fried breakfast, chocolate, take aways or fizzy juice.
Hoping this is permanent is i will become a skinny mofo
