woop woop! 2K11! Happy New Year everyone. Today is the day! :] It's gonna be a long and hard journey, but I'm up to the challenge. I'm going to change my goal weight to 137, because that's my halfway point. My relatives said I would look "sick" and "malnourished" if I was to be 125. So; once I reach 137, I will decide for myself if I still want to lose some or if I'm content with that weight. But I'm still quite a ways away... but today I plan on changing that forever.
Made some peanut butter/oatmeal cookies this afternoon.... snacked a little too much on the dough, so I decided not to have a baked cookie. It's things like this that I have to think through. But I'm getting better at telling myself no or when to stop, and when I can have something. One day at a time.

Fatsecret will be the place where I record journal entries and post pictures. I recently bought the Biggest Loser game for Nintendo DS, and let's just say I'm pretty excited about it :]
Personal goals:
Adjust my attitude; When I have a bad attitude, I'm just setting myself up for failure. I can't look at exercise as punishment or an obligation. I want it to be exciting and something I can look forward to.
Change my lifestyle; Weight loss and management is a lifetime prospect. I need to figure out my bad habits, and replace them with good ones. I can't hope to lose and maintain my weight if my lifestyle isn't set up to encourage it, if I allow myself to eat too much, and make a daily schedule that allows time for exercise.
Come up with a plan for success; I am going to list my goals in my bio. This will include: How much weight I want to lose, a target date to reach each goal, why I want to lose weight, and how I'll maintain my weight once I've reached my goal.
