I'm starting on a new workout program this evening. I've got knee tendinitis from heavy squatting so I need to leave my legs alone for a while but I will work the upper body and create the workout program around the upper body since I think that my knee recovery will take some time to recover – maybe a month maybe two.

I've been doing virtually the same upper body workout three times per week for about two months and it's been going well...I've seen some good progress in strength and in weight loss. Time to add a second upper body workout that will be using other muscles of the upper body and then a third workout which will be a light leg session filled with stretching and light leg exercises. I think I have to do light leg session workout more than once per week, perhaps three times a week in order to get the knees stronger.

My upper body workout - Three days per week
benchpress 3 sets of five or military press three sets of five
pull-ups 3 sets of nine
knee ups 3 sets of ten
back extensions 3 sets of 25
sit ups 3 sets of 15
dips 3 sets of ten
Push-ups three sets of 15

Likewise time to start a new diet diary… I haven't counted my calories in more than one year, but I lost anywhere from 15 to 20 pounds within one year's time. I lost 10 pounds within six months (since January) but I keep on putting back about 5 pounds due to not counting the calories that I eat.
