I'm so sorry to hear how frustrated you are. I've been getting that way too because it's also very hard for me to lose weight for health reasons. Back a few years ago when I was able to be more active it took me 6 months to see a difference in my self, even thought everyone else sees it first. I lost a pants size then I was and I eventually felt a little healthier. Everyone's body is different to one another when it comes to weight loss. Some people take much longer to get the results, like me. But I don't think you are doing anything wrong. From what I can see you started back in April. Give your body time to work out it's "kinks. You have lost a little over four pounds! That isn't bad at all in little less than a month! 1 pound to 3 pounds a week is what doctors recommend to lose usually for most people. Anyway, I hope you the best during your journey through weight loss. Don't give up!

You started at 256 and are now at 251, so you are losing. It may not be fast, but you are doing something right. If you have spent years yo yoing with weight loss, you can slow your metabolism down. You can also get your body back. It takes a lot of hard work and a long time. Patience and persistence is necessary. Plan your diet around lots of natural foods like lean protein, dairy, fruits and veggies. Watch your intake of processed foods. Get in enough liquids/water to get rid of sodium. Make sure you are being honest about tracking what you eat. As you get smaller, you will need to reduce your calories. At the same time, make sure you are eating enough calories for your current age, weight, height and activity level. Eating to little can hinder weight loss. There's a magazine called "Oxygen" which comes out monthly. It has many different articles about fitness and nutrition. It's great motivation even if you don't want to build the same kind of muscle. It's about being fit. Keep going. Learn as much as you can about nutrition and fitness. You can change and add exercise as the weight comes off. You can do it.
