I feel like the lbs are going to melt off while I’m still pretty overweight and then it’s going to get sloooooow once I’m closer to target. Any tips on accelerating that last 20lbs or so very welcome ☺️
85.5 kg Lost so far: 0.7 kg.    Still to go: 22.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Fasting. 5 days normal diet and 2 nonconsecutive days at about 500-600 calories. Water is great at flushing your system whilst tricking your body into believing you’re full. 😘

I think I will start doing 5:2 actually! I missed lunch yesterday and dropped a pound and didn’t feel hungry so clearly I can cope with it!

Some people believe that if you don’t eat your body it will go into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down. This is probably true if prolonged but for a day I don’t believe it is true. Also if you eat little and often your metabolism will speed up - as long as you’re eating the right foods - and aid weight loss. It’s all about getting to know what works for you without making yourself ill in the process! 😘
